Our Story

Two traditions,
one table

Embankment Winery was born from a simple conviction: that the finest moments happen when great wine meets great bread at the same table. Nestled on Healdsburg Avenue, our tasting room is where the vineyard's legacy meets the baker's craft.

Our wines are grown, fermented, and aged on-site using grapes from estate vineyards in the Russian River Valley — cool-climate Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays with bright acidity, and bold Zinfandels that carry the sun of Sonoma in every sip.

Each visit includes a curated pairing with small-batch breads, focaccias, and pastries baked fresh daily in our on-site kitchen. This is not a tasting room with snacks — it is a place where wine and food are conceived as one experience.

Every bottle tells the story of our Russian River Valley terroir — hand-harvested, small-lot, and crafted with patience.

Estate Pinot Noir

Bright cherry, dried rose, and earthy undertones. A wine that breathes with the cool evenings of the Russian River.

White peach and honeysuckle with a whisper of toasted almond. Crisp acidity balanced by a silken, rounded finish.

Blackberry jam, smoked paprika, and a touch of vanilla. Bold yet graceful — a wine built for long evenings and good company.

The Bakery

From the oven to your glass

Our bakery is not an afterthought — it is the other half of who we are. Every morning, our bakers begin before dawn, working with organic flour, cultured butter, and the same care we bring to the vineyard.

The result is a line of sourdoughs, olive oil focaccias, flaky pastries, and seasonal tarts designed specifically to elevate our wines. A slice of rosemary sea-salt focaccia with our Pinot Noir is not just a pairing — it is a revelation.

All baked goods are available at the tasting room and for purchase by the pound. We also offer private baking classes and pairings for groups of six or more.
